Iredell of Edenton, Chown County, North Carolina

Francis Iredell was born ca 1725 in Lewis, Sussex, England and was married to Margaret McCullochand by her had eight children, viz:

• James Iredell Sr. was born 5 Oct 1751 in Lewes, Sussex, England and died 20 Oct 1799 in Edenton, North Carolina. He became comptroller in Edenton at the age of seventeen years; was appointed fir first Attorney General in North Carolina from 1779-1781; and in 1790 became a Supreme Court Judge. Issue:
