1. John Weaver Craton was born 1808 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, farmer, resident of Dallas, Georgia in 1860. He served as a soldier in the Confederate Army and died in 1864, buried in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. The Craton family resided at McPherson, Georgia. Issue:

   3. William I. Craton, born 19 January 1851 Georgia, died 25 July 1886, buried in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. He was married on 30 November 1869 in Paulding County to Pheriby Emmaline Adair, born 23 September 1852 Dallas, Paulding County, a daughter of John Bluett Adair and his wife, Pheriby C.
