Beckton, be recorded; viz:, the petition of Philip Boyet, ordered that the said estate of James Boyet be divided amongst the heirs: Sabrey Boyet; James Jeffers; Philip Boyet; Stephen Boyet; James Boyet; Abigail Craddock; Edward Boyet; Jcseph Dickey; Allen Boyet; Seth Boyet; and Irvin Boyet. James Boyett was listed on 1805 Ga. Land Lottery, in Screven Co. He receivedd a land grant of 400 acres in Burke Co., Georgia in 1796.
- Seth Boyett,b. 1794, d. ca 1870 in Metter, Candler Co., Ga. He was a minor in 1811, mother apptd gdn at his father's death. He m. 1st, Hannah Fraser 10/19/1817 Screven Co. and, 2d, Patience Moore, 6/18/1829 Screven Co., Ga.

- John H. Boyett m. Elizabeth Trawick 10/9/1853 Decatur Co. Memoirs of Georgia, V. I, P. 584-5: "John H. Boyett, Jr., son of Jd'ln H. and Elizabeth [Traywick] Boyett, was bom 6/7/1864, in the western , part of Decatur County, Georgia. John's parents had four children: Isaac L., a planter; ElIzabeth, single, with brother; Julia Ann [Mrs. Samuel Brunson, Decatur County and John. The Boyetts are of Irish origin and members of the family came to this country among its earliest settlers. Isaac Boyett, Jphn's grandfather, was a soldier in the Indian wars. He cams to Georgia and settled in the western part of Decatur county, being one of the three families there in 1836. He lived and died on a plantation then settled. John H. Boyett, his father, was born in North Carolina, and came to Georgia with the family. In 1853 he and Elizabeth Trawick were married and to them were born four children. Mr. Boyett's father enlisted as a member of Co. A, 51st Ga. Regt. in May 1861, and served in Virginia.. .While doing picket duty in Shenandoah valley, just before day, Sept. 19, 1864, he was shot dead by a Federal picket and was buried where he fell."

Edward Boyett was administrator of the estate of Irvin Boyett, decd, Screven Co. Mts., V. A, P. 116. Issue: 1. James T. Boyett, b. 1812 Screven Co., Ga., d. after 1880 in Bradley Co., Ark. Wife, M.9.ry, b. 1818 Ga. LIsted on 1840 Union Parish, La. Census, was in Tx. in 1857 and Ark. in 1865.

James Boyett, Jr. made his LWT in Emanuel Co., Ga., WB A, P. 86-7, dtd 10/29/1837, naming wife, Rebecca, to whom he left the homeland in Emanuel Co. cQ1sisting of 702 acres. His son, Arthur Boyet and wife, Rebecca, were exrs. The est. of Arthur Boyett was administered on 12/10/1866, Emanuel Co., with bond given by L. Williamson and Solomon Williamson.
