"Dudley W. Reynolds, son of Dr. H. V. Reynolds, of Marietta, has been appointed general agent for the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance company, with headquarters in the Empire building in Atlanta, and has taken charge of the company's business in North Georgia. Mr. Reynolds was selected for this position after a careful scrutiny of the field by the officers of the Massachusetts Mutual and while the position is a high compliment to so young a man, the confidence in him has not been misplaced, as is shown by his rapid rise in the insurance world. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1905, he assumed the duties as cashier of the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company...."The Marietta Journal and Courier dated 2 February 1912
