The Passmores, McKenzies and Wiley Holland were listed as members of Liberty Baptist Church. Supposedly Wiley and first wife were buried in the family cemetery on the Holland farm.

At this juncture, I am trying to find out if Jacob was Wiley T. Holland's father and who his mother was. He certainly was a fruitful man with twenty one children! I am a descendant through Henry Jefferson Holland, the youngest son of James A. E. Holland, the oldest son in the second marriage of Wiley T. Holland. Thanks for caring to respond. The 1820 Wilkinson County Census shows: male 10-15, 2 males 26-45, female 10-15 and female 26-45. Wiley fits into the male 10-15. Jacob Holland was from Pendleton District. He was found there on the 1800 and 1810 Census. The book, 1800 Pendleton District, page 35, explains: "James Keith sold land on the southside of Big Beaverdam Creek on 9/24/1792 to James and Andrew Holland who already lived in that vicinity and they in turn sold the land to Jacob Holland on 8/29/1799. Benjamin F. Holland and wife, Penelope (Kirksey) of Pickens County allied with the Keiths of Whitfield County, Georgia in 1855."

The online Holland information should take you back further. I have worked on this family for more than 40 years and am well aware that Jacob came from Benjamin Holland of Abbeville County, South Carolina.
