June 28, 2014Dear Georgia Pioneers, I am searching for information regarding the families of Reason Beal, b, about 1817 in SC. It is strongly believed he had at least one brother, David Beal, b, 1811 in SC. These Beal brothers migrated to Dekalb County, Ga before 1840. We highly suspect Reason married Nettie L. Donaldson. She is probably known as Louisa, b, about 1820, give or take a year or two.
Brother David Beal married Louisa’s sister, Dicey Donaldson. The families later moved to Gilmer County, Ga, before 1850 where Reason is found with Louisa and children in the 1850 Census. We are interested in anything BEFORE 1850, specifically in Dekalb County. Your help is appreciated. Respectfully,
