Kaphan, Theodore and Elias, two Atlanta men, who have been living in California for the past five years, are among the thousands of unfortunate victims of the San Francisco earthquate. The Kaphans are assisting in the effort to formulate plans for relief of the Georgia colony... Mrs. Ida Kaplan, mother of Theodore and Elias, resides at 400 South Pryor Street, and when seen this morning she has heard nothing from her sons. Ref: The Atlanta Georgian, April 17, 1906.
