Transcript of Last Will and Testament of Henrietta Miller
In the name of God amen, I, Henrietta Miller of the city of Savannah, County and state aforesaid hey man, being of sound and perfect mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and time following, that is to say, first, I do will and I do hereby device that all of my property be kept together, until all my just debts are paid. Second, I bequeath unto my grandchildren (the children of my son John) namely a black woman I have named Polly, with her increase, to my said grand children their heirs and assigns forever. Second, I give and bequeath to my son, Dr. Lewis Trazevant, the sum of $300 to be paid him from the first proceeds of my property in lawful money of the United States. Fourth, I give and bequeath to my son, Jordan J Miller, his heirs and assigns forever use of my property, real and personal, of which I may die processed or hereafter inherit by will or otherwise. Fifth, I devise and particularly request that my executors hold the property bequeathed to my son, Jordan J. Miller, in trust for him, until he becomes of age, the same to such advantage being his minority, that the that the proceeds they're all may be used for his expenses. Sixth. At the decease of my son, Jackson J. Miller without lawful assigns, then and in that case it is my desire and I do hereby direct that he said property be equally divided between my son, Dr. Lewis Trazevant, and the children of my son, Thomas A. ---------and the children of my son, John -----, To the held by them, their heirs and assigns forever. Seventh. I do hereby appoint my son Robert ---- hey so guardian of his children. Eighth. I do hereby devise and appoint my sons, John----and Lewis Travazent, William March, and Bryan ---- esquire, executors of this my last will and testament, and trustees of the estate of my son, Jordan J.
