"Verdict: We the jury find the issue in favor of the plaintiff...David Hendrix is an insane man and is not possessed of any property by inheritance. Signed:: W. W. Carroll, Foreman; W. E. Judge McMannes summoned a jury of twelve men totry the case at the jail house, where the woman was. J. J. Clay was selected as foreman, andDr. L. L. Johnson as examining physician. When she saw the men, she said that she knewwhat all these men were there fore....they were going to put her heart back in its place.Taken to the State asylum 8/6/1886.
