On 13 March 1826 John Register of Laurens Co. sold to Robert R. Register of Laurens Co. land in first district, 1/2 of land lot 243. John Register served as a juror in 1832, and petit juror in 1832, Laurens Co. on 27 May 1817, John Register, Groom, and Nancy Cane, bride, marriage license issued by Amos Love, Clerk, married by Neill Munroe, J. P. Mary Register, on 5 March 1850, widow of the deceased, John Register, stated that at the time of his death, her late husband was possessed of the west half of land lot 113 in the 2nd district of Laurens Co. and that she desired the court to appoint a committee to lay off her dower from this property. Court appointed Cullen O'Neal, William W. O'Neal, Samuel Yopp, Samuel Roach, Drewry F. Scarborough to lay off her dower. Her attorney was Eli Warren. Issue:

He died 1853. 12 January 1819, Robert Register, Sr. of Laurens Co. sold to Henry Gay of Laurens Co. for $800.00, 386 acres on the Oconee River, bounded by McCormick lands all around. 18 April 1857 Elizabeth Warren, widow of the late Robert Register, stated that her former husband died in 1853 and that Cullen P. Register was administrator de bonis non cum testamento annexo and that her dower had never been set off to her. At the time of his death, Robert Register was possessed of lands located in the 17th district, land lot 37, 68 and 83, each containing 202 1/2 acres. She petitioned the court for appointment of commissioners to pay off this dower to her. Judge Peter E. Love appointed Wright Knowles, Green Knight, William H. Darsey, Jonathan Mullis and Alfred Mullis to lay off the dower. Another document dated 10 February 1852 of James Register, the only acting qualified executor of the will of the deceased, Robert Register, regarding a debt of $180 promissory note that Robert Higdon, Jr. made to the deceased on 11 February 1852.
