Obituary of Mrs. Estelle Ogilvie Moore Dell of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Griffin. She died Friday at her home in Texas, where she moved from Griffin (GA) in 1965. Her survivors include her mother, Mrs. C. T. Chambliss, two daughters, Mrs. Mary State of Iowa, and Mrs. Joan Dunn of Texas; two sons, S. Sgt. Clifford W. Moore of the U. S. Army and John W. Moore of Griffin; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence W. Jackson Mrs. Alene Thompson, and Mrs. Nora White, all of Griffin, and Mrs. Pauline Giddens; one brother, Jack Ogilvie of Griffin; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 3/31/1973, Griffin Daily News.
Joel Chambliss, 68 years old, of S. Augusta Ave., died Tuesday night at a private hospital. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. H. J. Evans, Mrs. E. K. Sparks and four sons, Herbert, S. E., J. E. and P. N. Chambliss. The body was removed to the Chapel of Harry G. Poole. Atlanta Constitution 5/22/1918.
