Immigrants to Virginia in 1622


1 August 1622. Servants of the Virginia Company remaining in Virginia in 1622:

Thomas Kemis, governor (dead); Thomas Baugh; Richard Milton; John Gybs; Thomas Shipway; Alexander Bradway; William Clement; Richard Sheriffe; Thomas Molton; George Heale, drummer; Frances, daughter of William Finch and his wife Elizabeth who remarried; Elizabeth Web (married); Elizabeth Coopy, daughter of Thomas Coopy. Those who went in the Furtherance in June 1622 before the news of the massacre: George Pelton; Richard Willis (dead); Clement Metton; Richard Buttry; and John Burdely who went at his own charge in the Margaret and John, Mr. Langly, in August 1622.
