Peter Ware, born 1596 in Dublin, Ireland emigrated to Virginia and died ca 1665 in Gloucester County. He brought with him his wife, Eliza and their grown children, viz: Peter and Robert Ware first to the York River in 1635/1636 after the death of his father, Sir James Ware I, the First Auditor-General of Ireland who died in office on 5/14/1632. Sir James Ware I married Mary Bryden of St. Edmundbury in Dublin in 1590.
Peter Ware, Jr. was born 1614 in England and died ca 1650 on the York River in Virginia. He was married to Jane Valentine of King and Queen County, Virginia.
Valentine Ware, Sr., son of Peter Ware, Jr., was born ca 1635 in Dublin Ireland and died ca 1660 in York County, Virginia. He was granted 600 acres of land in King and Queen County on 5/2/1705. He served as a vestryment (with his brothers, John and Edward), in Stratton-Major Parish 1720-1728.
Valentine Ware, Jr., son of Valentine Ware, Sr., was born 1640 in Virginia, died Gloucester County in 1693.
Peter Ware, son of Valentine Ware, Jr., was born ca 1670 in Gloucester County where he died ca 1724, married Mary Dudley.
Peter Ware, born ca 1700 in Gloucester County, died in Goochland County in 1741, married Judith Scott on 3/1728/1729 in Gloucester County.

Henry Ware, Sr., son of Peter Ware,Captain, Revolutionary War, born 1728 in Gloucester County, Virginia, died after 1801 in Lincoln County, Georgia, married Martha Garrett (1735-1817), died in Lincoln County, Georgia. Issue: Patsy, Frances, Martha, John James (1755-1826), Nicholas (1758-1827), Robert (1759-5/18/1827 Montgomery County, Alabama, Sarah 9/15/1762-8/7/1853 Henry County, Georgia, and Henry 12/16/1756-1807, died Lincoln County, Georgia.
Nicholas Ware, Revolutionary War Soldier, son of Capt. Henry Ware, Sr., was born ca 1758 in Caroline County, Virginia, died 1827 in Morgan County, Georgia, married Mary Heard.
