William Rucker, Jr., Revolutionary War Soldier, was born 9/28/1744 in Culpeper County, Virginia and died 11/22/1834 in Elbert County, Georgia. He was married to Elizabeth Barden or Tavener. After the war, he drew a number of land grants in Georgia and removed to Elbert County. Issue:
- Tavener Rucker, born 1/12/1777 in Culpeper County, married Elizabeth Wade ca 1793.
- Barden Rucker, born 1785 in Culpeper County, died 1855/1856, the date of his LWT, married 8-23-1810 in Elbert County, Georgia, Frances Alexander.
