Hoomes of Caroline County
George Hoomes died in Caroline County in 1733; the executors of his last will and testament were George Hoomes and Christopher Hoomes. Issue:
- George Hoomes (1709-1793).
- Christopher Hoomes, died 1785 the date of his last will and testament.
- Joseph Hoomes, died 1784, the date of his last will and testament.
- Benjamin Hoomes died 1785, the date of his last will and testament, married Elizabeth Claiborne. Benjamin Hoomes owned 640 acres in King and Queen County which he sold to Fleming Gaines in 1783. Issue:
- Benjamin Hoomes, born 1755 died 1812, the date of his last will and testament. He was married to Mary, daughter of Benjamin Pendleton and Mary Macon. He served as a captain during he Revolutionary War; wounded at the Battle of Monmouth.
- Joseph Hoomes died 1801, the date of his last will and testament.
- Thomas Claiborne Hoomes (1781-1821), married Betty Pollard, daughter or Robert Pollard. No issue. Resided at Melrose Plantation in King and Queen County.
- Frances Hoomes married William Thompson.
- Elizabeth Hoomes married Thomas Stuart.

- Priscilla Hoomes, married Joseph Pollard of King and Queen County.
