Heard of France, England, Virginia and Georgia
The Heard familie were Normans from the north of France to England with
William the Conquerer, granted a coat of arms with the motto:
"Toujour fidele", meaning Ever Faithful. The family was granted
estates in Aiglish, Co. Tyrone, Ireland. It was JOHN, the Earl of

JOHN, JAMES, JESSE, THOMAS, and GEORGE. Stephen, his
eldest son, came the following year with his wife, Lady Mary
Faulkner of Wales, and d. in Pittsylvania Co., Va. 10/29/1774.

Jesse, (left the homeplace after death of his wife, Mary.) Stephen,
George, Mary (left 249 acres on Black Water River), Ann Gilliam,
