The first Easley in Virginia is probably Robert Easley who resided in Henrico County from about 1681 until his death in 1711. He left 500 acres of lland to his three children, viz: John, Warham and Margaret (wife of Thomas Duprey); three younger children were Elizabeth, William and Robert.
Daniel Easley died 1786 in Halifax County leaving a last will and testament naming his wife, Elizabeth, and children.
- Daniel Easley, Jr., died 1812, the administration of his estate dated 26 October with will annexed, granted to Thomas Easley.
- Isaac Easley, died 1810, leaving a well. Wife, Judith. Sons, Isaac and John. To John, he bequeathed the tract of land on the Dan River where Samuel Easley now lives. To son, William, the land he purchased from Thomas Easley on the northside of the road leading from Meadesville to Halifax Court House.
- Ann Easley.
- Mary Ann Easley married Parker.
- Phoebe Easley married Adams.
- John Easley, died 1782 when an inventory of his estate was produced. Daniel Easley was appointed as guardian of his children. Issue: Robert and Elizabeth Easley.
