Bandy of Tazewell County

Avy Bandy resided in Cumberland County, Virginia. Cumberland County Virginia Court Records 25 Aug 1755 "Ordered that the church wardens of Southham Parish bind out Thomas and George Bandy, sons of Avy Bandy according to law."

Thomas Bandy, son of Avy Bandy, was born ca 1745 in Botetourt County; removed to Tazewell County where he was married to Nancy Peery, his first wife and by her had three children. He died in Tazewell County in 1825. Issue:

  5. Charles Bandy married Miss Blankenship.
  6. Jane Bandy married Thomas Beavers.
  7. Nannie Bandy married Columbus Beavers.
  8. Mattie Bandy married W. L. Beavers.
  9. Sarilda Bandy married James Beavers.
  10. Mary Belle Bandy married Joseph Reynolds.
