A. John Atkinson, born 1788, died 1820 in Camden County. After the war he was married Miss Fernandiz of Fernandina, Florida, whose father owned Amelia Island. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia, taking the first honor in 1804, later studying law under W. B. Bullock of Savannah, Georgia. He began practicing law in Camden County in 1812. John was buried on Mountford Island on the Satilla River.
B. Alexander Atkinson, born 17 August 1796, died 20 June 1840 in Camden County, buried in the Black Hammock Cemetery. He took over the plantation after the death of his father, but in 1837 purchased land on Boggy Swamp where he resided until 1840 when he was murdered by five of his Negroes in the field. He never married.
C. Nancy Atkinson, born 5 January 1799 in Camden County, died 30 September 1876, buried in the Lang Cemetery, on Satilla Bluff, in Camden County. She was married to William Lang in 1820.
D. Edmund Atkinson, born 2 April 1804 in Camden County, died 19 March 1862 in Camden County, buried in the Black Hammock Cemetery. He was married in 1833 in Madison County to Sarah E. Waddell (born 29 December 1809, died 3 August 1858 in Camden County, buried in the Black Hammock Cemetery). Issue:1. Edmund Atkinson, born 1835 in Camden County.
2. Alexander Atkinson, born 27 August 1836 in Camden County, died 17 February 1912, buried in the Black Hammock Cemetery.
3. Camden Atkinson, born 1839 in Camden County.
4. Satilla Atkinson, born 1841 in Camden County.
5. Constance Atkinson, born 1843 in Camden County.
6. Elias Reed Atkinson, born 1846 in Camden County.- Burwell Atkinson, born 29 August 1767 in Northampton County, Virginia, died 29 October 1854 in Camden County. He was married (1) on 22 May 1792 in Orangeburg, South Carolina to Ann Felder (born 21 November 1776 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, died 15 December 1838 in Camden County, Georgia). After her death, he married (2) Mrs. Ann Bailey on 11 October 1839 in Camden County. Issue:
- Elizabeth Atkinson, born 1795 in Camden County.
- Caroline Atkinson, born 9 November 1809 in Camden County, died 21 May 1889, buried in the Homeward Cemetery in Waverly, Camden County.
- Margaret Atkinson, born 1812 in Camden County.
- Captain Alexander Smith Atkinson, born 19 January 1815 in Camden County, who had eight children, five sons and three daughters.
- Nathan Atkinson, born 1817 in Camden County.
