Jackson Judge died, body to be buried in Atlanta. His first wife was Miss Mitchell of Milledgeville, daughter of Walter L. Mitchell, and had five children, four daughters and one son. One of his daughters married Joe Scrutchins. Two other daughters are unmarried. His wife died about 14 years ago. Two to three and a half years later, Judge Jackson married Mrs. Scofield. Jackson Sarah, negro, died suddenly at a negro boarding house on West Mitchell Street (Atlanta). She had just arrived in the city and was accompanied by a little eleven-year-old granddaughter, and the two were on their way from New Mexico to Florida. On the 26th of January the deck load was swept away, and the same day William Jenssen, 18 years, Charles W. Olson, 27 years, and Herman Bjorklien, 18 years were swept overboard and drowned.
