Jeremiah Wadsworth
" Jeremiah Wadsworth was a native of Connecticut and early in the field to do battle for his loved his injured country. He rose to the rank of general and was remarkable for great energy, undaunted courage, ardent patriotism and untiring industry. He was a member of Congress for some time. In public and private life he adorned the virtues that ever dignify , and died in 1804."
