Christopher Trinkle

Christopher Trinkle was born ca 1752, and married Elizabeth Weiser, the daughter of Adam Weiser of Frederick County, Virginia.

In 1777, Christopher Trinkle enlisted in the company of Captain Tripler in the town of Winchester, in the regiment of Colonel Campbell (the First Virginia Regiment). He was in the battles of Brandywine, Camden, Rootsford, Guilford, and Eutaw Springs. He was discharged at a place called Round O in South Carolina by Colonel Campbell. He applied for a pension on June 16, 1819. At that time he was a resident of Washington County, Indiana.
