George Graeff
George Graeff was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1755. He was a brave captain in the Continental Army and did good service in the cause of Independence. He acted a gallant part at the battle on Long Island in 1776. Subsequent to the war he filled several civil offices with credit and usefulness. He was emphatically an honest man. He died at his native town on the 13th of November 1823.
