Thomas Cobbs
Thomas Cobbs of Columbia County, Georgia made his LWT on April 9, 1831, proved June 3, 1833, stating " the lawful heirs of my children...I have outlived them all! "
He named his grandchildren as follows:

- Thomas Cobbs
- Joseph Cobbs
- Sally C. Lamar and husband, Peter Lamar.
He named his great-grandchildren as follows:
Sarah Luke, daughter of William and Patsy Luke

Published in The Georgia Messenger, 25 October 1832, "Died lately at his residence in Columbia County, Capt. Thomas Cobb, age 110 years a native of Buckingham County, Virginia. He was a soldier in the Revolution, and held office under the Commonwealth after Independence. He moved to Georgia in 1785. He very efficiently carried on his plantation operations for 90 years, and always had an abundance every season, whether it was a good season or not.":
