Anthony Bonnell
Anthony Bonnell was born in 1741, died Screven County, Georgia in 1805. His Last Will and Testament dated 19 Nov 1804, named his wife and son, WIlliam; also, daughter, Elizabeth, and grandson, John. Mentioned were: Archibald Mills, Henry Bryant, Anthony Bonnell Jr., and Thomas F. Lovett." "Died at his plantation in Screven County last Tuesday, Anthony Bonnell, in his 68th year." During the Revolutionary War, in 1774, Anthony Bonnell served as an Ensign in Burke County, Georgia, 4th Regiment. He was promoted to 2d Lieutenant of 1st Co. in 1778.
After the war, he received a land grant in Burke County, Georgia, but resided in Screven County.

- William Bonnell 1774-1830 married Rebecca Magee.
- Elizabeth Bonnell married Archibald Mills (12/28/1765-2/26/1818, buried in the old Colonal Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. They had a son, Thomas Mills, born Jan 1, 1782 who married Nancy Lanier.
- Rebecca Bonnell, listed as a daughter in McCalls Roster of the Revolution, married Thomas F. Lovett of Screven County, Georgia.
- Anthony Bonnell, Jr., his Last Will and Testament dated July 8, 1825, probated November 5, 1825 in Emanuel County, Georgia. (Volume A, Emanuel Co. Wills, p. 6-7), named his wife, Rebecca and youngest children: Anthony, William, Mary Cassandra, Mary Ann. Other children were: Sary Ann and Jane.
